Child Pushed from Tate Modern Now Able to Jump, Swim and Run

Parents of a young boy who suffered severe wounds after being thrown from the 10th floor of the art gallery have announced their "little knight" has accomplished his goal of being able to jump, swim, and run anew.

The French youngster was six when he was pushed off a railing by a teenager, previously seventeen.

The boy, who was traveling with the family in August 2019 when assaulted, survived a 98-foot fall but suffered significant injuries, including a brain hemorrhage and shattered bones.

His family shared in an update on a donation site, they were delighted that he had been capable to advance with his swimming, running and jumping before his upcoming operation.

"He is unable to accomplish as other children his age, of course, but we can no longer describe his movements in another manner than by terming it's swimming, running, and jumping."

"It's different, only over a couple of yards or a minimal elevation, but it's an amazing success."

The child, who endured a long time in critical care, has persisted to gain brain resilience.

Parents explained although his memory skills were even now very limited, they were effective and progressing, so he was "developing a common awareness at his rate, which more and more enables him to be integrated with other children."

Parents noted: "He is also developing, and because of his work with the psychomotor therapist, he now enables himself to relax."

After a trial at the court, the youth was convicted of trying to kill and was imprisoned in 2020 for at least fifteen years.
